This all kind of started as a joke, several years ago. My friend Chrissie referred to some dude at the mall as having a "my first mustache." I almost peed myself.

I've always been interested in disguises and costumes. Maybe it's because I was born on Halloween, or because I like playing jokes on people. Then there's the whole gender studies aspect of "what would it be like to be a dude?" and watching "Victor Victoria" and reading "Twelfth Night (I think that's the Shakespeare play where the girl twin dresses up like a guy…I'll have to fact-check that one)." I mean, COME ON. If you're a lady, would you really look like a man if you had a mustache, or would it just be funny?
